Abanico was amazing. It’s an absolute must visit if you are in Estepona. Reasonable prices, the owner is extremely friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. We will back many times during our stay here.
Eggplant tapas: 5/5 (best thing we had)
Peel Peel Shrimp: 5/5 (2nd best, but almost 1st)
Grilled Avocado Salad: 5/5 (can’t wait to get it again)
Hummus: 5/5 (we had two dishes it was so good)
Goat Cheese Salad: 4.8/5 (only reason it’s not a 5 star is because the other dishes were THAT good and may have overshadowed this)
Empanadas: 4/5 (we just aren’t big empanadas fans but the filling was excellent in each. Maybe too much bread?)

Great place, excellent food.
Everything was delicious, especially the mushroom tapa.
The main courses were cooked perfectly, the Angus ribeye and entrecote were both amazing.
The grilled octopus was spectacular.
If you have the chance, don't hesitate... highly recommended.

A really good restaurant if you want grilled food or something similar. The food arrives super fast, even faster than McDonald's but better. It definitely deserves 5 stars.

We were looking for a nice relaxed bite to nibble at and this place popped up as a well suggested option so we walked up from the port after a morning at the markets. And what a great suggestion! We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown through to the terrace at the back which was situated in a quiet square and was lovely out of the direct sun. I think our waiter was the owner and he explained the menu, the daily specials and how the items are prepared. Definitely ask what the empanadas and specials are as they change - if they have the beef ones then you have to try them. Two of us had two empanadas, croquetas, carne y tomate and Russian salad (all tapas portions) and it left us stuffed - which was a shame as the dessert looked great! It washed down nicely with a couple of small beers and veranos, as we digested and watched the movements of a Sunday afternoon in the square. Lovely staff and chilled atmosphere, we would definitely return!

Everything was fantastic. We were a large group and they treated us very well, the food was great and the kids had a great time playing in the area right in front of the restaurant after lunch.

Everything was delicious, the milanesa was a sure hit! And the empanadas were spectacular. I highly recommend it. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for everything.

We both had the milanesa with tomatoe sauce and cheese, and it was delicious! Food was hot and it was ready in no time from when we ordered. The outside seating area was cozy and very nice.
Lots of art and outdoor seating in Estepona
After years of working in hotels and large restaurant chains, we decided it was time to create something of our own. Thus, this little corner in Estepona was born, where the important thing is to eat well, with fresh products and without spending a fortune. We know what we are doing… and you’ll notice it in every dish.
